Woohoo another week down, week went pretty slow it felt like but that's alright. But I got to finally see some northern lights in Alaska and they are beautiful holyyyy and general conference but let's get into the week
Tuesday 9/30: today we had service in the morning for this lady who made us carry the heaviest dresser up 2 flights of stairs so that wasn't that fun but then we had district council today and that was fun. We saw the northern lights today and they were so pretty so I'll put a photo at the bottom of this email for yall to see.
Wednesday 10/1: we cut down a ton of trees for this one lady who is actually kind of crazy. Everytime we go over there she is talking about the most random stuff and so I got a whole ear full of it while my comp cut the trees down so not the funnest.
Thursday 10/2: our weekly planning is now on Thursdays so we did that and had a couple lessons cancel today, but we then went on a part exchange at night and had some mid food. Then went and gave someone a blessing.
Friday 10/3: we had a service at the high school football game today so that was kinda cool so we got to watch some Alaska jv football and wow it's a lot different compared to Utah football that's for sure.
Saturday 10/4: general conference today which was fire but it was at 8 am today so that threw me off so bad not gonna lie but some fire speakers today. We then went and picked some food up that a member made and It was banana bread but it wasn't very good.
Sunday 10/5: some more general conference so that was fire. We have a Polynesian member in our ward who calls us all the time and yesterday she called us like 10 times about conference and wow it's just so funny I always know when she is calling us.
Spiritual thought: Kevin brown during general conference said how our testimonies need to me eternal and not temporary. This hit me because each of our testimonies is our own personal unique witness of the savior and our testimonies are just so powerful and can influence so many people when we share them with people.
