Tuacahan 2025

It was time for the annual Tuacahan Trip.  This time, Marlena couldn't go because she is having trouble with her Sciatica.  It is kindof bad.  Michelle and I went because we had already purchased our tickets.

We headed to St. George on Monday, and stopped off in Fillmore for some Golf at Paradise Golf Course. It is right off the freeway and NOT crowded.

Look at us in our same colored shirt..:)

We got to our hotel in time for a quick nap and then off to the show.  The Little Mermaid

It was a good show.  We have seen it a number of times at tuacahan.  It was indof psychadelic (spelling) in costuming, which was kindof different.  But certainly a good evening was had by us.

Tuesday we went to Utah Tech (Dixie State) Campas store because McCall needed a Banner for college week at her Jr. High where she is a counselor.

Found the banner and had to take a pic for Abi.  I didn't realize I was wearing my Boston shirt and matched the Utah Tech Colors!  AND my shoes match too.  It was a great book store and Love the campus.  I would have loved going to school at Utah Tech.  It was one of the schools I didn't attend.

Went to the Costco - didn't buy much.
Then to Ross and back to the hotel for some pool time.  And we Stopped at Red Fort for some to go Indian food.  Butter Chicken for Michelle and Curry Chicken for me.  It was soo great.

Show was Wizard of Oz tonight.  I don't really like the Wizard of Oz movie, but the show was really good.  Fantastic actually.

Wednesday we ventured over to Zion National Park.  Michelle said it wasn't very crowded.  I thought it was but I haven't been there for 30 years.

We took the shuttle bus to the exit of the Narrows hike.  I hiked down Zion Narrows over 30 years ago and so it was fun to see where we exited.  It was absolutely beautiful.

We saw some deer on our hike

Such a beautiful place.  There were a few other hikes I would have liked to go on, but we didn't have time.

We picked up some Guacamole from Oscars by Zion and headed to the hotel and had our leftover Indian food and Guacamole.  AND of course a Maverick drink.

The last show we saw was Newsies.  I have seen that one a bunch of times, but we really liked it also.  We thought it was our favorite Newsies we have seen.  There wasn't as much fighting between the Pulitzer and the newsies so it was better.  Loved it actually.
We decided if we could see one of them again, it would be between Oz and Newsies.

On the way home, we also stopped for 9 holes of golf in Fillmore.  It rained a bit, and Michelle almost got par on one hole.  We were able to finish.  We didn't get invited to join their golf league however.

Fun trip.  Can't wait to go next year.
