Headed to St George for our annual Fall Golf. We golfed at Sun River on Thursday. It was a great course. I have played it before, but this time was much better. I stayed out of the wash on the sides.
It was cool and overcast but didn't rain.
Friday we played at Sky Mountain in Hurricaine. It was suppose to rain, so we were ready with our Cart Covers.
Sandra got a new cart cover with plexi glass on the window.
This is my cart cover. It doesn't have plexiglass it has just plastic and it is hard to see out of the front window.
Kim soaking wet
Tons of red mud. Rained and rained and rained. Kim insde and warm
Sandra and me. We were dry as long as we stayed in the cart. We only played 9 holes because it was just too wet. There was water and mud everywhere. It was cold and not that fun. Rain is ok, but a downpour for two hours isn't super fun.
It was sad because Sky Mountain is a great course. We need to go back and play again.
Saturday was Halloween and we played at Coral Canyon, also in Hurricaine. We were paying and I conveniently remembered that we are Seniors. We saved $50.00. Seriously thats the only perk to getting older.
It was cloudy and the grass was super wet. We had to stay on the cart path which was a problem for me since I can't walk very well with my knee problem.
Sandra was good to pick up my ball when I couldn't walk that far. Sandra has her pumpkin shirt on for Halloween.
Here I am in the cart because I couldn't walk to the other side of the fairway.
It was Halloween so Victoria had these bracelets for us. And the spidy rings.
And these Halloween Socks. Love them. Those aren't my golf shoes, This was after our round.
We had a great trip. We want to go back and play Sky Mountain and Coral Canyon because we didn't really get a fair chance at either one. I did decide since I saved 50.00 on the course today and I only paid for 9 holes the day before I would get a hat and a shirt. The hat was from Sun River the first day. Shirt was from Coral Canyon. They even match.
