First hike of the Season - WSU Loop

The first day of Summer vacation, I decided we needed to start our summer hiking.  I got an email a  long time ago about Weber State building this new Interpretive Trail above the Football Stadium.  What a perfect day to go check it out.  It has 25 signs along the way.  So we were off.

Jack didn't want to go.  It was Jack's birthday.  But finally we talked him into going.  He didn't love it.  It was super hot for June.  Unusually hot.  But we got there, and it wasn't that exciting, but we did get in an hour or so before our trail brought us back to the car.  We did see some lizards and some weird poop.  A few wild flowers and only a few signs.  I think we didn't make the big loop to see all 24 signs.  Next time when it is not as hot.

Notice the W in the background for Weber State.  That was the football field and we were above the stadium hiking around.

On the way home, we stopped at Pizza Pie Cafe for Jack's Birthday.  I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was.  A pizza buffet and it was really good.  I had some coupons from school so thats why we went.  It was a great place for all of us because we could get what we wanted.

This was Jack's pizza.  It was Oreo pizza.  It was not my favorite.
