McKenna my niece graduated from UVU in public health (something like that). Due to Covid the graduation ceremony was a drive by celebration. So, Nick and I wanted to go. We met Michelle at her house, then loaded up in Marti's HUGE truck.
We met the rest of them and put them in the back of the truck.
Nick is wearing his sunglasses because he is just out of the hospital with his TBI and this is one of his first outings...and he rides in the back of the truck for a few miles...
You unload the graduate, and they walk across this green carpet and stand by the back drop
We drove by and cheered while she walked and stood for her pictures and shook hands (or whatever) with the Dean and professors.
There were posters and balloons to cheer her on.
We went to California Pizza Kitchen after to celebrate McKenna. It was kindof a cool way to make it important but not take up a ton of time like most graduations. Way to go!
