Leaf Hunt 2025.

The annual Lewis Leaf Hunt is still going strong all these years.

Marti was the Leaf Judge.  The hunt was rigged because Peart's got all the good prizes :)

This was my prize with some cool skeleton lights on the inside.  Kit Kats on the outside. McCall did the prizes this year since Grandma is under the weather with Sciatica.  We had fire candy as prizes for some.  Grandma usually buys the junk Dollar Tree candy which is YUCK.  But McCall got the good chocolate

Leaf hunt was a success.  Good Food.  We are not having hot dogs next year or veggie dip. Everyone ate the Queso dip and McKenna's fruit salad (according to Michelle) so we don't need hot dogs.  I had 32 buns and we didn't even use 18.  And we had 21 people there.  :)

We missed Mark's family (they were in Arizona) and Abi and Brody and Jack and Grandpa.  Michelle's family was all there.

I was trying to take a selfie before church and during.  I'm not the best. I also have my golf earrings on again.

This dude is cool, but wears the weirdest things to church.  Last week he had on Pink Doc Martins.

Starting to cool off 🥶🥶

Hello family and friends! This week was interesting to say the least. It started snowing on the mountains and actually snowed in my last area this week. So like it's about to be -40 which I'm not too excited for but gotta trust that I'm here for a reason and I'm needed here no matter how cold it is. But let's get into the week!

Tuesday 9/23: well we had a huge zone council instead of district council so that was fun and I won the activity so let's goo. But after that my comp wasn't feeling good so we went home and he slept for a little. Pretty much just chilled out the rest of the day.

Wednesday 9/24: we had 2 general authorities come to our mission today and so we had a conference with them on how to improve the work here. They told us not to be tracting anymore which was like the best news I think I've ever heard in my life. He told us to focus on member work so that was a miracle.

Thursday 9/25: we didn't rlly do to much today both my comps had slept in for awhile so I did all my studies and they were still asleep which was crazy actually. We had a lesson with Fred today and he was lit. Dinner was fire we had some Hawaiian food and it was gas.

Friday 9/26: my comp got the news that he was going back to his old area which was like lowkey a blessing so we could get more work done. But we had a lesson at an old person home with someone and while we were talking another old lady came in and started asking random questions to us. The lady we were teaching started to get soooo heated at her and it was so hilarious.

Saturday 9/27: we harvested potatoes today in the morning so that was sweet and fun to do. Went and did the same old Saturday stuff ans then we had dinner which was very good but also awkward cuz the family wasn't very talkative.

Sunday 9/28: typical Sunday today we just had church and then a dinner tonight which was odd cus we got there and they immediately just had us prepare the food cuz they had us over way too early and they weren't prepared. Also I've never heard more kids scream in there life.

Spiritual thought: Hearing the death of our dear prophet was so sad to hear but im so grateful for the plan of salvation knowing he is going to be with our heavenly father to forever rest. I love knowing how God calls prophets who lead and guide his church today and when we listen to the things they say we see so many blessing.

Email me! I love hearing from you all!

Toana Vista Golf Club

Headed to Wendover to play some golf.  I haven't played in Wendover for about 5 years so it was fun to play there again.  I did much better this time around.  The last time, I had my old clubs and was very new.  This time, I'm a rookie and have new clubs...:)

There were plenty of Antelope on the course.  They didn't seem to mind any of us.

This one was sitting there looking at a Dog that was outside the course.  He wouldn't move ...We didn't want to hit him so we just waited  Finally he moved.  If Sandra would have hit with him standing there, she would have hit him.  We don't like being mean to the wildlife.  We are conscious golfers like that.

I thought my ball was in the water. When I got over there, look, it was barely on the edge. I didn't hit from there, there was NO way I was risking falling in that yuck water

Such a great course.  Who would have thought a great course in Wendover.  The interesting thing, is it wasn't crowded.  Someone in our group thought it was Pacific time for the course, so he got there an hour early to practice and he was almost late.  But the clubhouse said oh just go when he gets here there is no one behind you.  What a great day for golf.  Beautiful course and no one behind you bothering you.

I did miss Millie's baby blessing.  I had committed to our trip to Wendover a long time ago.  Look how cute all of them are.
