I'm goated at ping pong - Jack's email from Alaska

Hello Friends and Family! This week was very good as a missionary and it's honestly been getting so much better I feel like! But our p days are now supposed to be on Mondays and then they changed them for my area again back to Tuesday this week so it's kind of a shuffle between Monday and Tuesday I guess. We somehow ended up with a ping pong table in our apartment and my and my comp have been keeping track and I am up like 75-40 on games against him and he gets heated it's funny. But let's get into the week!

Tuesday: 9/9: lowkey a crappy service in the morning which was buns and then just some good district council and weekly planning of course. We helped out a fam who needed help with their phone but they just needed to turn it off silent. It was a little funny.

Wednesday 9/10: We did a huge cleaning at this ladies house which was actually disgusting I won't lie. I wanted to barf the whole time. But it sure looked clean after lemme tell ya. We had a lesson with our recent convert Paul today and it was fire.

Thursday 9/11: today was a busy with more service today. And we had to create a calendar for our members today and my comp had to make it look perfect so it took way longer then expected. Then we did service for our boy Fred and he clutched up and got us pizza. Shout out Fred!

Friday 9/12: exchanges with Elder Nielson today and they were fire. We did like a million contacts it felt like. But solid day overall and then I went and unpacked and then got a call from the DL and said that we were going on exchanges that night so I did 2 exchanges back to back.

Saturday 9/13: the elder I went on exchanges with had to go to Anchorage today to pick medicine up from the mission pres so we went and they had us for breakfast so that was fire. Pretty mid day tho overall.

Sunday 9/14: typical Sunday went to church and then just did work, dinner at the leathems which was very fire had like the best food ever.

Monday 9/15: 2 meetings yesterday that were like 4 and a half hours combined so that definitely felt long. But we got very good council on how to find people to teach so hopefully that will help us out.

My spiritual thought today is just going to be how important it is to show love for everyone no matter their beliefs. A lot happened this week regarding that situation and I think it's important we just love absolutely everyone no matter what they believe in.

Anyways would love to hear from you all! Email me!
