Hello everyone! This was a long, short and boring week all at the same time for me this week. But we got through the week so i mean I can't complain. But long story short I am now in a trio because the guy who joined us had to get emergency transferred because he was getting surgery to remove an absess from his chest and so he just got put with us cus the hospital is right by us. But let's get into the week!
Wednesday 9/17: we drove down to Anchorage in the morning which is like an hour away to pick up our other companion. We helped out our boy Rodney with some plumbing issues and he's a dawg. We had dinner that night which was pretty fire won't lie.
Thursday 9/18: today was pretty boring as my comp was nervous for his surgery tmr so he wasn't working or wanting to work like at all so I tried my best to get them out of the apartment but failed until I set some service up for a lady. So we went and did that then we had dinner that night and that meal was pretty good.
Friday 9/17: today my comp got surgery so we were in the hospital for like an hour and a half. Then we had our ward party this night as well so that was fun. There were lots of games and then they sent us home with a ton of food so that was crazy.
Saturday 9/18: pretty much I was studying and my comp got out of the shower and said he had passed out from the blood of his surgery thingy and so he wanted to take it easy so thats what we did which kinda sucked. We had a dinner tonight as well and it was some gasssss food won't lie.
Sunday 9/19: typical Sunday today with church and other meetings and stuff. We went to dinner with this awesome family and our lesson ended up having me drink a couple with a bunch of random condiments somehow but it worked cuz the fam enjoyed it so it was worth it.
But this week was tough cuz my comps go home after this transfer so they don't really want to work as hard. But I am doing my best to get them out of the apartment. So thats my spiritual thought. We need to use the Lords work and time seriously and work as hard as we possibly can while we are here and doing work that we have been called to do.
