Our furnace decided to stop working. It would work and and you think all is well and then wake up and it was. 66 degrees in the house. The furnace is on borrowed time for sure . I was leaving town so I hated to leave Andrew and Nick in a freezing house. Called our HVAC guy Loren.
Andrew was home and talked to him. New motherboard. Somewhere between 200 and 800 dollars. Had to go get the part and come back
Two days later he came and it was $825 to fix. Thought it was worth fixing. Andrew wrote him a check. It was 29.00 more if you used a credit card. Conveniently I still have some checks.
Loren sent me this message after he left .
Love that. ALMOST worth the 825 to fix the furnace.
Furnace filter size for remembering when I need to buy a new one.
