Abi Graduates from Dixie State

 

Abi graduated from Nursing School in December but the graduation for the University was held in May.  So of course we needed to go and Celebrate our Abi.  

Graduation was at 7:30 AM on Friday May 5.  That was early.  But we got there around 6:45 and the stadium was almost full on the west side.  T

Abi - her metal is because she graduated in the top 11 of the graduating class.  Way to go.  She did have a 3.99.

We stayed in the La Quinta in LaVerkin since the hotel rooms were soo pricey and full.  I liked staying over there however.  

We stayed in room 227.  I always take a pic of the room number in case I get liquored up and can't remember what room I am in. Michelle's friend always does that so it is good advice.  

After graduation, and Lunch at the Twisted Noodle, we headed to the Pool.  Not much of a pool, but it wasn't crowded.  It was hot.  I took a nap first, but everyone got a bit sunburned.

Then we headed to Cowboys and Indians store for a T shirt and then Zeppe's for a treat.  THEN some of us decided they were hungry so we headed to the Chicken place for Chicken strips and fries.  

THEN we were tired so headed to the hotel to sleep.  

So proud of Abi for working so hard to graduate with her RN and being in the top 11 of the graduating class.  Such a fun time and wouldn't have wanted to miss it.
