Owls Bat Boy

Nick was the bat boy for the Orem Owls.  They are a minor league team that feeds into the Salt Lake Bees, who feeds into the Angels.  He had to wear gray pants, and a red shirt.  He was soo excited.  We got there and he was escorted to the dug out and he went with them to collect the equipment and they was instructed how to be a bat boy.  He was to run out and pick up the bats after the batter got to first base.  But if there is a guy on 3rd, he had to wait til he got home or didn't run to pick up the bats.  He also handed the umpire the new balls and got stray balls that were hit behind home plate.  He also got a few high fives from the players.  He also had to make sure there were enough cups for the Gatorade and water for the players.  Nick had a great time.  You could see it on his face.  Every time he came back from collecting a ball, he had a huge smile on his face and after the game he was just a sweating  It did rain tonight but other than that, it was a fabulous evening watching our bat boy!
