Cleaning up today I found this comment. I think it was written by my friend Kelly Sylvester who wrote his Ward Choir program for Christmas Sunday. I wanted to save it and didn't know where...
I hope the words I feel will reflect in some small way, the promise of joy the Savior can bring to each of our lives. While the world may not come to an end today (Friday) many have had their own devastating turn of events in their lives. With all that change around us, Christmas is constant. It comes every year, @ the same time, with the same promised hope and happiness. Just as Christmas is constant, Christ, can be a constant in our lives, if we give Him our hearts.

I stand by my contention that Halloween is the most charitable night of the year. So for all you hallow-haters, I am glad for you its over. But for me, Halloween is a time to give with no expectation of getting anything in return. It is also a chance to see our neighbors and greet people who we really should know better. It is the best neighborhood bonding night of the year.
