Grandma and the Costco

Brooke has Mondays and Tuesdays off at the Aquarium.  She comes to visit Grandma on one of those days  Andrew usually visits also since he isn't working  Nick visited this past Tuesday because his back hurt and conveniently he wanted some lunch.  This week they got about 40 wings from Wing Stop.  They seem to be branching out with that one.

They decided to play some UNO

Nick did mow the lawn  Nick said he wanted to mow her lawn this summer, but Brooke or Andrew does it a lot too because Nick is too busy  :)

Brooke takes Grandma to the Costco for whatever grandma's need there.  Usually It is food for my kids that visit.  We do live the closest

This was an old pic when Jack was on home MTC...Conveniently he was there for the lunch

Back To School 2025

Here is our Back to School photo this year.  This is the second year we have had NO one going to public school.  Sad actually

Here's Nick's back to School Pic at Weber.  Not sure who the others are in the photo, but glad to get a photo.

Here's Nick alone.  Not sure what Nick is going to study but increasing his learning

Starting year 32.5.  It is 0.5 because all the time with out pay I have taken off, counts against my total time.

AND Andew has started at the University of Utah in a masters program in something with numbers  I'll have to fnd out again.

Here's me a few years at school.

Andrew and Ton have a Birthday

Happy Birthday to Andrew! We celebrated at the Golden Ginger of course.  We didn't even take a pic, but this is the pic the day before Jack left for the MTC.  All I got.

They were super slow, but we did get some drink refills.  We got home late, and Andew started his Masters Program that day so we opted to just go home and not have Duggar Dessert with presents.

Sunday, afternoon, Andrew, Lili and I celebrated with Duggar Dessert.  So good.  Brooke made it the other day so it had cookies and cream and recees peanut butter cups instead of butterfinger.  It was a great option.  He opened his presents, some money, and some Uno Golf cards and Diet Coke and candy.

I did make him this card.

I thought it was cute.  There was some money in it too.

Great time for his Birthday.

Ton also had a birthday.  Funny thing is last week at Andrew's birthday she said she is NOT celebrating or giving a dog a gift.  Ha she was wrong

Told you she celebrated the dog

Happy birthday to Ton and Andrew.

The promised land - Jack's email from Alaska

I have made it through another week of missionary work and this week was pretty fire won't lie. This week we had like so much service for people it was so crazy I feel like that's all we did. But I hit 100 days as a missionary tomorrow so that is also kind of crazy how it's flown by but also been the longest 100 days of my life lol. But let's get into it

Wednesday 8/20: we went on like a 3 day exchange because the ZLs flew to barrow for exchanges so that was crazy and also super fun. We had a Ton of service today since we were running 4 areas between 3 of us. But we also had a ton of lessons, we also had the davis family for dinner and that was some pretty fire salmon we were fed.

Thursday 8/21: we had interviews with our mission president today, we then had more service shocker, but we had a pretty good day overall, had a pretty good dinner too.

Friday 8/22: we went to salcha for bread service at the senior center and pretty much you get like a crap ton of pallets on a dolly and as my comp went inside with all of the bread all of the pallets tipped on his dolly and so much bread on the floor it was funny I won't lie. We had a couple lessons and then we had one with Kristian who's hilarious and he gave us Chinese food which was amazing. We then had another dinner so 2 dinners in one night which was good but also felt like I was gonna explode.

Saturday 8/23: this was for sure the most productive Saturday we've had on the mission we had quite a few lessons today. We stopped by some members and just set more lessons up so that has been good for us. We had dinner with the Bowlby family and we talked Golf for 2 hours straight and his wife and my comp were just in shock by how much we talked about it.

Sunday 8/24: lots and lots of church and then a lesson at the Miller home and they want there kid baptized so lets pray they will want to meet with us again to get there kid baptized!! But we had the cliffords and just always amazing food at that house.

Transfers are next week so that will be exciting I do want to stay in this area though. But this week was really good for the most part and I enjoyed it a lot.

 Spiritual thought:

Well this week I was studying Lehis dream and realizing how important it is for us to hold onto the iron rod and be on the straight and narrow path. Obviously there are times in life when we get so busy and it gets so crazy that we kind of get burnt out but anything is possible with the Atonement of Jesus Christ and we need to follow and trust in his plan!

Email me back! Love hearing from all of you!

Golf with the Nick at Sun Hills

Tuesday Night Golfers had an open spot.  Dawn backed out at the last minute, so I asked Nick.  He was all in.  We headed up to the Sun Hills.

Nick's sporting his new good looking Golf Shirt and Golf Shoes.  He showed me that shirt on Amazon, and said he would just leave it open for me.  So I ordered it for him.  It was delivered the next day...

We needed a picture of just him for his Mutual acct.

Here's the rest of the gang.  This is right after Nick hit is drive right over the hill and onto the practice green.

That's Tom who is 78 jogging to his ball on the 18th hole

You needed to hit OVER these weeds

Great form - good pic for Mutual also

We had a pretty good round.  We ended it at La Puente for some Mexican food.  Nick and I are going to take some Lessons From our Bud Mike at Sun Hills soon.

Nick, Talon's Cove, Clothes, Earings, Pep Club

This is a pic of nick.  It doesn't look like him...I don't recognize him unless he is wearing his cinnabraun shirt.

Golfed in Talon's Cove in Eagle Mountain.  Don't love that course but super fun.  Sandra got stuck in the weeds in the golf cart. I wish I had pics but I was laughing so hard I couldn't think about it.

Took this pic of my earings for Michelle and look at my chin...dang...I should get some tape or something

Nick left his clubs in my car so I had to open my car.  There's the chili Nick getting them out of my car.

AND I found this on my facebook page for my high school reunion.  Probs the only pic I was in while in High school. I can't even see where I am.  I'm probably absent this day :)

Love this

AND couldn't decide if I should wear this outfit today.  Don't mind the bathroom, cleaning up isn't my strong suit.

I'm on the way to school.  I decided to wear the outfit.  Jeans were too hot today.

I wore this shirt to church today.  It hasn't fit for a while, and I think it is kindof Ugly.  Maybe move on to DI.

Wanted this golf outfit. Brooke said no.  Golf season is over...nope not yet.  But I didn't get it.
