Skederos Golf Scramble at the Eaglewood

My friend, Kim, works at the Greek Orthodox Church in Slc.  They were hosting a Golf Scramble for Greg and Anothony Skederos who have died.  They attend that church.  Greg and Anothony Skederos both died and are from Bountiful.  Greg Skederos owned the Mandarin and Anthony was an ER doc.  (fun Fact)

She had her son in law and his friend back out at the last minute so she asked Kent and me to fill in at the last minute.  We are good fill in friends.

It was bright and early on Saturday.  Carts were all lined up ready to go.

Maureen, Kent, Kim and Sandra

We found carts for 6B and our name and loaded up.  We also had Greek Cookies and Coffee if you wanted.

We played a scrambal which means everyone hits, then we move our balls to the best ball, and hit again.  We get a score as a team on each hole.  It is suppose to make the play much faster.  We did take some of my shots as the best ball.

It was a beautiful morning at the Eaglewood in North Salt Lake

We did ok.  Scrambles usually have VERY low scores, since every shot is usually pretty good.  We scored a 69.  We didn't win for sure, but thought it was decent.

Scorecard

We had a lunch after with bbq pork, coleslaw, beans and some great greek potatoes.   That is my new shirt that I got at Sun Hills Golf course.

They also gave way prizes and a raffle. Sandra was the big winner of a sleeve of golf balls

Great day of golf and fun.
