Hello
Family and friends!! Today I hit 3 months as a missionary. So crazy!! But this
week was lit. Let's get into it !!!!
Friday
7/15: P day today, we did a huge slip n slide and it was like 40 degrees so I
was actually so cold after but it was so worth it, it was so fun actually. Then
we hosted some other missionaries at our apartment because we were flying out
the next say to Anchorage.
Saturday
7/16: ELDER BEDNAR. Wow that was the coolest experience I've ever had. He was
so spiritual and was so cool to just have an apostle within 5 feet of me. It
was the best experience I've ever had. It felt like he literally knew everyone
personally and it was just so unreal. It was so worth having to wake up at 3 in
the morning and not get back to north pole til midnight.
Sunday
7/17: casual Sunday of 5 hours of church. It was long and I was pretty tired
but we got through it so yay. We had dinner at the cliffords so that was pretty
fire. Best filet mignons ive ever had.
Monday
7/18: yesterday was a lot of planning and district council. We then went and
did some stop bys and had some success running into some inactive members.
Dinner with the Taylor's which was pretty fire.
That's
pretty much the end of this week but it was good!
Anyway
my Summer Lacrosse coach Jonah Warnick called me out for not putting my
testimony or a spiritual thought at the end of my emails so I'm gonna start
doing that.
So
something Elder Bednar said was that a lot of times as we are praying we pray
for things to happen and expect them to just magically appear into our lives,
but the thing is that's not faith. We need to act on the promptings we have
from the spirit and that is truly when we are testing our faith and letting the
spirit guide us throughout our lives.
