I've lost count of the days - Jack's Email from Alaska

Hello Friends and Family! Well it Is yet another exciting week being a missionary. This week was pretty mid and kinda sucked. But we are still grinding out here and doing our best but let's get into it.

Tuesday 7/29: Today for P day we all went fishing in this guys lake that is In his backyard pretty much. Unfortunately none of us caught anything so it was not a very exciting fishing day. We went and played spikeball for 4 hours and then after p day ended we went to the Barbers and I had crab legs for the first time and they were so good.

Wednesday 7/30: Today was lots of service and nasty service. I swear everyone in Alaska just is a hoarder and it's pretty gross sometimes. This house we went into just smelled awful and it was actually so disgusting. But we had dinner on the air force base with the Bowlbys who made some pretty good food so that was worth it. Then we taught our boy Wesley that night.

Thursday 7/31: we had to wake up at 4 am and take the ZLs to the airport today and that was rough they are in a trio with a guy who just got out here so we were In a trio for the day and we were pretty tired to say the least. We then had to pick them up and they didn't get in until 11 pm at night. But we had dinner at the Dean's so that was a fire meal so worth it.

Friday 8/1: more service today at 9 am at another insanely gross house. Which didn't surprise me. I've never wanted to puke more in my life. But we had dinner at the McMickells house today and they fed us salmon and it was the best tasting salmon I've had so it was actually gas.

Saturday 8/2: today was pretty ineffective we went and walked around to talk to people and my comp was going through I'm pretty sure he's hecka depressed so prayers up for him. He went and starting like punching trees and getting all mad so I had no idea what to do. He then went and like shook a tree til it fell over and it almost landed on me and that would've hurt. But after all that we went to the Champlins for dinner and they are my favorite family for sure and I think I ate about 50 wings that night. They also made me hold their cat which was terrifying. But again worth it for the Diet Coke.

Sunday 8/3: 7 hours at the church was very very long. But we made it somehow. We had dinner at the Cliffords and they are so funny and the food they make it also so fire.

Monday 8/4: lots of planning today and some meetings which felt like forever. We had dinner at the McMickells again and I got flamed for the lack of movies I've seen so that was hilarious. But I told him it's not as bad as it seems lol.

Anyways there were many good and bads throughout this week but we pushed through. Please email me back I love to hear from every single one of you guys!!!
