Abi Arrived home

Abi was not feeling well.  She said she had a sore throat and felt yuck. I happened to be with Mark so he called in an antibiotic for her in case she had strep.
She kept feeling worse and worse and finally called and said her throat was soo swollen she couldn't swallow very well.  She had to go to the Doc.  She called a few hours later and she has MONO.  He thought that she had strep first, then got the Mono.  Nothing to do but rest. 

We decided to go and pick her up.  She can't drive home if she is so sick.  So, Brooke, Nick and Jack all decided to go with me.  We made it a quick road trip.  We stayed at the Abbey Inn which has the great swimming pool.  It is their mostly off season so it wasn't crowded and we had the hot tub to ourselves.

This is the only pic I took of our trip.  I always take a pic of my room number.  Michelle had a friend recommend it so when you are liquored up you can remember which room is yours. I don't need to be liquored up to forget my room! 

We left after school got out for the Winter Break.  We arrived in St. George around 7:00 and went swimming.  We had the hot tub to ourselves.  Then to Cafe Rio for dinner and then more swimming.  Abi looked so tired.  We left on Saturday so we could make it home for the Family Christmas party. 

So glad Abi is home to rest and recoop.  It was super fun to go and pick her up.  Love quick road trips and fun with the family even if it is just swimming and eating Cafe Rio.
