What's up yall hope everyone had a great week and a greet
Halloween!! This week was lit and was full of miracles!! We also had an all day
p day this week which was so much fun!!
Monday: CELESTIAL P DAY! we started off all day p day by
playing some basketball and then we headed to Buffalo wild wings and took on
the blazing challenge which is 10 Carolina reaper wings in 5 minutes. It hurt a
lot but I was able to do it. After b dubs we spent the rest of the day playing
games and then ended by playing a big game of hide and seek in the dark.
Tuesday: we had a lesson with a inactive member who wanted
us to teach his daughter who hasn't been baptized yet. The lesson went so good
and I'm confident that she is going to be baptized soon!! We also played
basketball with a bunch of investigators except we were in our church clothes
so it was kind of hard to play haha.
Wednesday: was kind of disappointing. A lot of people didn't
want to talk to us or just canceled the whole lesson all together. We did have
book of mormon study though which went really good! We also did like a crap ton
of raking leaves but we did get to jump into them which was fun!
Thursday: we did some service for our friend Carlos. We just
tied a bunch of stuff to rope and he hauled it up to his attic. Then he made us
breakfast and put like 3 habanero peppers in them and they were nothing
compared to the Carolina reaper wings.
Friday: we had zone conference which was super good. We
talked alot about following the spirit and heard some really good testimonys.
After that we met with brother woods who just overcame cancer and he is so cool
because he is starting to just see God in his life and it's just super
cool.
Saturday: we met with our friend John. John is super cool
because he literally owns a hawk. Then later that night we went to our stakes
dias de Los Muertos party. There was lots of good food and a bunch of the
missionaries came and we danced the entire time which was super fun even
thought I couldn't understand half of the music.
Sunday: we had a really spiritual sacrament meeting. I even
shared my testimony. After that meeting one of the youth teachers asked us to
teach there class about gaining a testimony so we did and I think it went
really good. (Shoutout to brad white for teaching me how to teach 15 year olds
lol)
Anyway that was my week and I'm absolutely loving my time
out here in Nebraska serving the people of Bellevue. I'm getting farther in the
book of mormon everyday and every verse is just so spiritually uplifting! I'd
