Week 11!! "With those boots on nobody will know your from Northern Utah
What's up guys!! It's been a pretty crazy week! We found 10 new people this week.i feel like I'm really starting to hit my groove as far as teaching about the gospel goes. I even used the first vision in one my lessons this week which was so hype for me!
We  taught macry how to ride a bike. Macry left for the provo mtc yesterday and needed to know how to ride a bike for his mission so we taught him how and then ate some Mexican food with him.
Wednesday One of the people we used to teach recently passed away so we went to his funeral and the service was pretty good. It was kinda weird being in a different church but it was also kinda cool. Especially because it was a rock band church so they had some really cool songs about Jesus.

Tuesday we went and visited brother Sanchez just to see how he was doing and he ended up taking us to the boot barn where a bunch of there boots are 50% off right now. So I copped a pair and after I bought them my companion said the funniest thing to me "with those boots on nobody will know your from northern Utah" haha. Guess I'm a cowboy now haha.

Thursday night we had a really powerful lesson with josephine. We taught her about the power of the book of mormon and I even shared my testimony of the book of mormon which was fun to do haha.

Saturday we did lots and lots of service. The first service project we went and cleaned up trash out of the grossest house I've ever seen. There basement was flooded and so we cleaned up trash with water up to our ankles. The water also smelled like dog poop which wasn't very pleasant either. Later we painted a house and then we ended off service Saturday by burning some sticks.

Later that night we visited Mike and patty. Mike started chemo recently and it's not looking good for him. So keep him in your prayers please! The chemo has made his whole neck swell up and he can barely meet with us for 30 mins before he has to rest. So that kinda sucks but he still wants to get baptized!!

Sunday we had a cool lesson with a family from south Sudan. We taught them all about the restoration and talked a lot about baptism. All the kids want to be baptized but the mom doesn't speak good English so she's kind of on the fence about it but the cool thing is she is sisters with one of our inactive families so we are gonna try and see if we can get her to translate for her!!

That's all that happened this week. It was a super busy and hype week! Hope all of you are doing good. Feel free to email me!
